Velo Football is a structured 1-on-1 development program for young footballers aged 8 to 12. We work with six players at a time, so every session is built around what your child needs to improve.
Book a Player Assessment See How It WorksMost young players train with their team once or twice a week. In a squad of fifteen or more kids, the coach simply can't spend much time on any one player.
So the same weaknesses stay untouched. A shaky first touch. A weaker foot. Slow decisions under pressure. Season after season, the things holding a player back never get proper attention.
Every player develops differently. The areas your child needs to work on are not the same as the player standing next to them at training. That's the gap Velo Football exists to close.
Velo isn't casual coaching, and it isn't a drop-in academy. Every player follows the same structured pathway, built around their individual needs.
A full 1-on-1 session where we assess your child's technical ability, movement, speed, confidence and decision-making.
We pinpoint the two or three areas that will make the biggest difference to your child's game.
Weekly 1-on-1 training in the same time slot, with every session building on the last.
A weekly small-group session where Velo players apply their individual training under more pressure.
At the end of the block, we measure how far your child has come and plan what's next.
Every new Velo player begins with a Player Assessment. It's a full 1-on-1 session with the coach, and it tells us exactly where your child is at right now.
During the session, we look closely at:
After the assessment, you'll get a clear picture of your child's strengths and the two or three areas that matter most. Suitable players may then be invited into the Individual Development Program.
Book a Player Assessment ($60)Players invited into the program train 1-on-1 with the coach every week for 8 to 12 weeks. The whole block is built around the two or three development areas we found in their assessment.
Only six 1-on-1 development positions exist at one time. Each time slot is reserved for one player for their full development block.

Jeromie is a football development coach and qualified Physical Education teacher. He works with young athletes every day, in the classroom and on the pitch. He built Velo Football around a simple idea: young players improve fastest when their training is planned around them, not around a group.
Parents know exactly what their child is working on, why, and how they're progressing. That structure is the difference between training that fills an hour and training that changes a player.
Velo only coaches six 1-on-1 players at a time, and every one of them started with a Player Assessment. If you'd like your child considered for a development position, the assessment is the first step.
